Business Director
Craig Veteto
The Business Director is responsible for overseeing the overall financial health, stability, and long-term success of Southwest Soccer Academy. They will develop strategies to ensure the league remains financially sustainable while identifying opportunities for continued growth and improvement. Working alongside the Operations and Marketing Directors, they will oversee budgeting, financial planning, business partnerships, and organizational development. Their primary goal is to ensure SSA remains financially secure, operates effectively, and continues to grow while providing a positive and sustainable soccer experience for the community.description
Operations Director
Josh Mcmanama
The Operations Director is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Southwest Soccer Academy, ensuring all league programs run smoothly and efficiently. They will manage coaching staff, player registrations, team rostering, scheduling, enforcement of league rules and policies, and all field setup and maintenance to ensure facilities are properly prepared and maintained. Working directly with the Referee Director, they will oversee referee assignments, scheduling, and budgeting to ensure games are properly staffed and operating within budget. Their primary goal is to maintain an organized, well-managed league that provides a positive experience for players, coaches, families, and staff while ensuring the academy operates effectively.
The Treasurer is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and overseeing the day-to-day financial reporting of Southwest Soccer Academy. They will prepare and present budget reports, track income and expenses, monitor financial transactions, and ensure all financial documentation is properly recorded and organized. Working closely with the Business Director, they will help maintain financial transparency, accountability, and responsible budgeting to ensure the academy remains financially stable and operates within its approved budget.
Devin Roberts
Treasurer
The Referee Coordinator is responsible for managing all referee-related operations for Southwest Soccer Academy. They will schedule referees in advance for all league games, maintain accurate records of referee certifications, ensure referees complete required renewals, and keep all referee documentation up to date. They will also oversee referee budgets, track payments and expenses, and work directly with the Operations Director and Treasurer to ensure referee assignments are properly staffed, documented, and maintained within the approved budget. Their primary goal is to ensure all league games have qualified referees and that the referee program operates efficiently and professionally.
Reffing Director
Jimmy Daugherty
The Concession Director is responsible for overseeing all concession stand operations at Southwest Soccer Academy. They will manage daily operations, create and maintain worker schedules, oversee inventory and product stock, coordinate purchasing and restocking, and ensure the concession stand remains clean, organized, and properly supplied. They will also monitor sales and maintain accurate records of inventory and expenses, working alongside the Treasurer to ensure all concession operations remain accountable, efficient, and within budget. Their primary goal is to provide a well-managed concession operation that serves families while generating additional revenue for the academy.

Nathan Thienaman
The Marketing Director is responsible for growing Southwest Soccer Academy’s presence and participation throughout Southwest Jefferson County. Working alongside the Business and Operations Directors, they will lead community outreach, build relationships with local schools and businesses, manage marketing and social media, and develop strategies to attract new players and families. Their primary goal is to increase league participation, strengthen community partnerships, and establish SSA as a recognized and welcoming soccer organization within the community.
